Ugo Angeletti is a New York–based technical artist and CG generalist who works at the intersection of procedural design and cinematic storytelling. He specializes in dynamic simulation; particles, fluids, destruction, cloth, and muscle, using Houdini to shape these systems and translate concepts into motion.
Originally trained in Communication, he holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University. Ugo transitioned into high-fidelity CG to explore how imagery can convey narrative and emotion, a foundation that continues to guide his blend of technical discipline and visual intent.
His experience spans commercial, episodic, and research-driven work, contributing across FX, CFX, layout, modeling, look development, and compositing - approaching each challenge with a generalist’s perspective.
Working primarily in Houdini and X-Particles, with Nuke and Resolve for finishing, he builds flexible procedural setups that support both creative exploration and production-ready execution.
